Empowering Play Transforming Lives Inspiring Futures

Welcome to Secondhand Support, Inc a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our journey began with the vision of two young girls, Marisa and Tori Bianco, who, at ages 8 and 7, started by donating their outgrown soccer cleats to children facing financial barriers to playing safely. With the support of their dad and networking efforts, Secondhand has grown into a registered nonprofit with a 501(c)(3) status."

OUR ORIGIN

Secondhand was originally organized to provide high-quality preowned soccer cleats and equipment worldwide, linking youth sports to the enhancement of education and self-worth. Due to the growth and popularity of the donation program, their dad, an attorney, incorporated the business and obtained an official nonprofit 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. Obtaining 501(c)(3) status allows donors to take a tax deduction for the donations, whether cleats or cash.

Our Expansion

Expanding beyond our initial focus, we now offer post-high school scholarships to students demonstrating leadership skills both inside and outside of school.

Upcoming Project - Pollinator Garden

In March 2024, Secondhand is embarking on a unique endeavor to contribute to the community in Papillion, Nebraska. We are dedicated to restoring the balance of pollinators by cultivating a plot of land with native, pollinator-friendly plants. This space will serve as a haven for the community, fostering relaxation and education, encouraging others to grow vegetation conducive to pollinator well-being.
